Hey. I missed you for a while. I have to say I’m so happy to be back on the air in Memphis AND working with the best morning show around (for the past year; yes I’m a little late posting this). I've been in Memphis radio for 15 years, except for those 10 months last year when I commuted to Jackson TN. Needless to say, my car hated me for that. 


When I was little, I used to ride around on my banana-seated yellow bike with my little radio hanging on the handlebars. It went EVERYWHERE with me, so I guess this job is kind of appropriate. Don’t ask me how I remember that, because I can’t remember what I did last month, but I CAN remember my phone number from when I was 8, WTH. Anyway, I love spending time with my family, going to concerts, doing almost anything outside, and going out with friends, and I hate it when people put that crap in their bios (just deal with it).


I don't believe in a person getting a job if they don't work hard (even though we’ve all seen that happen), but I do believe it makes a huge difference if you love what you do.


There's no way I could ever tell you my absolute favorite band (except Led Zeppelin), but here are a few off the top of my head that I like: Drive-by-Truckers, Van Halen (which doesn’t automatically mean Van Hagar), KISS, Tool, The Ramones, Alice in Chains, White Stripes, Raconteurs (all Jack White stuff), Jamey Johnson, Blind Melon, Incubus, Green Day, Johnny Cash, Seether, Hendrix, The Cars, Pearl Jam, Cheap Trick, Chevelle, Soundgarden, Audioslave (or really, ANY Chris Cornell), Wolfmother, Cake, GNR, Cheeseburger, the Strokes, some of the new country artists (it’s Jackson’s fault), Ozzy, AC/DC, Judas Priest, A Perfect Circle, and a few I’m forgetting (as if that’s not enough).  


I’m on with D and Z on Fridays at 9:20 with the weekend happenings, and on Saturdays 2-7p.
